To be integrated into another already existing electronic weighing system.
A system that will help farmers list their farmhands such that under a particular farmer in agrimanagr's (virtualcity.co.ke) system there is a drop down menu showing affiliated laborers. So every weight will primarily be recorded against the laborer or the farmer when no laborer is involved. This must not substantially increase the amount of time taken to clear with a transaction currently. The laborer will kind of be embedded in the registered growers number.
To subscribers in our system ,moving forward, the farmer becomes the original grower while the laborer changes into virtual grower. The program will capture the days weight accordingly and tally separately for every virtual grower as the month goes by. For the original grower it will tally for him and all his affiliated virtual growers and recorded as the month goes by. There will be input constants of management rate, wage rate and KTDA rate.
Virtual grower's monthly tally multiplied by wage rate becomes his monthly wage and deposited into an account created in the system. Note that a virtual grower can be affiliated to several original growers and his deposits will be made into a common account. Original grower’s all monthly tally multiplied by management rate become management fee. The sum of management fee and all affiliated virtual growers wage is recorded as ‘mali ipo' recovery. For clarity an original grower and all his affiliates makes one distinct original grower account. Also a virtual grower and all his wages makes one distinct virtual grower account. Any data or feature traceable to any given account should also be tabulated for ease of aggregation in specific levels.
Units in the virtual growers account are in Kenya shillings that can be cashed into paper and coins, transferred to other accounts or redeemed in kind for consumer goods of similar value at a specialty shop. The program ends with a simple POS system.
