Procurement Intern
Job Description:
We are a fast-growing FMCG company focused on B2B supply solutions, is seeking a female Procurement Intern to support their procurement team. This role offers hands-on experience in sourcing, inventory management, and supplier coordination.
Duties:
a) Assist in sourcing and evaluating FMCG suppliers to ensure quality and competitive pricing
b) Prepare LPOs and follow up on deliveries and confirmations
c) Monitor inventory levels to prevent stockouts or overstocking
d) Maintain procurement records, contracts, and invoices
e) Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely and accurate deliveries
f) Research market trends, pricing, and supplier performance
g) Support compliance with procurement policies and quality standards
h) Help negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers
i) Provide administrative and logistical support to the procurement team
Must haves:
a) Diploma/Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business Admin, or related field
b) Knowledge of sourcing, purchasing, and inventory practices
c) Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel); procurement software a plus
d) Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills
e) Ability to meet deadlines, work independently, and collaborate in a team
f) Prior internship or experience in procurement is an advantage
