Human Resources Officer
Job Description:
We’re looking for a Part-Time Human Resources Officer to provide reliable HR support in Tanzania. This role covers recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compliance, and general HR administration. The ideal candidate is a self-driven HR generalist with a strong grasp of Tanzanian labor laws and a commitment to operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruitment: Manage job postings, screening, interviews, references, and offer letters
- Onboarding: Conduct orientations and ensure smooth employee integration
- Records Management: Maintain accurate and compliant employee files
- Compliance: Handle statutory filings (NSSF, WCF, PAYE, SDL) and labor inspections
- Performance Management: Support appraisal processes and KPI tracking
- Payroll Support: Prepare and verify monthly payroll data for Finance
Requirements
- Bachelor’s in HR, Business Administration, or related field
- 2+ years HR experience in Tanzania
- Strong knowledge of Tanzanian labor laws and statutory compliance
- Experience in recruitment, employee relations, and HR operations
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel & Word)
- Fluent in English and Swahili
- Highly organized, professional, and able to work independently
