Job Description:

Currently seeking qualified and motivated candidates for the position of Transcriptionist to join our growing team.

Below are some of the responsibilities:
1) Must be able to meet specific deadlines for the completion of transcripts.
2) Listen to recordings and transcribe those recordings to text files,
3) Ensure accuracy of the transcribed text,
4) Understand details of client requirements regarding formatting and notation,
5) Complete transcriptions promptly, reviewing grammar, punctuation, and spelling before submission,
6) Remain familiar with the latest transcription software and recommend upgrades or enhancements if necessary,

Required Skills/Qualifications:
1) Minimum typing speed 65 wpm, minimum 95% accuracy,
2) Excellent attention to detail, active listening, and reading comprehension skills,
3) Effective communication skills,
4) Proficiency in Microsoft Word.

Job budget: Ksh.50,000 to Ksh.100,000
