Cygnite is looking for a Business Development Associate (BDA). BDA will be responsible for generating revenue by acquiring new leads and converting these to sales. This is focused on Cygnite's portfolio of technology services and solutions.
Cygnite is a technology, innovation and sourcing advisory company.
1) Creating and executing a business development and sales plan
2) Attain sales quota using the business development and sales plan
3) Increase awareness of company brand through representation at relevant industry and client events. Networking within the business community
4) Create and manage opportunities in line with company portfolio and expected coverage
5) Performs the administration component of the position.
6) Utilize solution selling techniques to effectively guide sales process to close.
7) Engage with potential customers and drive the sales process.
8) Create and deliver sales calls and presentations.
9) Prepare and maintain business development and sales
10) Perform follow up and manage on going follow up with prospects.
11) Maintain up-to-date pipeline on company sales tools
12) Other tasks relevant to business development and sales as may be assigned from time to time.
Desired Qualifications and Personal Attributes
1) Self driven and goal oriented
2) Relevant College/University Qualifications in IT/Engineering/Technology strongly preferred.
3) Prior working experience in direct sales in a business to business environment strongly preferred.
4) Previous experience selling IT services or software application is strongly preferred.
5) Experience with presentations, proposal development strongly preferred.
