The problem was on how to cut down the high cost of cement manufacture to realize high profits.

I led in executing the project by optimizing grinding aid which is an additive, to reduce retention time in the mill, thus less power is used in the manufacture of cement, highly efficient grinding reduces amount of returns after separation and less cost is thus realized with increased production.

It was challenging to carry out the lab tests especially for the varrying ratios of the raw materials and of the different grinding aids in the market. But it turned out a success and is in use at present.
