The client wanted a a legal research paper on extrajudicial killings in Kenya. Chapter one of the research talks about the forms of extra judicial killings that are known to happen in Kenya. the Chapter seeks to define extrajudicial killings from a local perspective and even an international perspective. The chapter traces the history of extrajudicial killings in Kenya looking at the Specialized Police forces like the flying squad who are widely regarded as perpetrators of these acts.
Chapter 2 looks at the measures taken by government and other relevant bodies to stem extrajudicial killings. The running thread in that chapter being the iineffectiveness of those measures.
Chapter 3 serves as a follow up to chapter 2. Now that we have established that the measures taken to curb extrajudicial killings are not effective, we proceed to examine why these measures are not effective. Chapter 4 is concludes the paper by listing recommendations aimed at stemming extrajudicial killings.
