The problem was the Mzalendo Newsletter used an old template that was not Mobile Compatible. The biggest obstacle is that HTML emails use the old XHTML code structure that is not suited for mobile phone views.

I was expected to design a new template in a design program, show the client who then chose the look. I developed the XHTML, programmed it into MailChimp, and built a custom MailChimp template for the news letter. I later tested using the latest 24 email client apps on Mobile email apps and browsers and the same for the main desktop operating systems.

Overall, the client was happy I had made it possible for the company to generate newsletters using a simpler process that they ware happy with and requiring close to zero training.
