This about Asiago the dancing humanoid to the popular hit song Gangnam Style. I worked on the basic body, as well as the lighting and, compositing.

The biggest problem i encountered was matching Asiago to the background in terms of lighting and composition, since it is a still picture taken at a different time and the other is a 3D animated object created in Cinema 4D.

My solution to overcome this problem an in depth study on lighting object juxtaposed in different backgrounds. I eventually studied shadow placement of objects in the background photo to understand the direction the light was coming from. Using this knowledge i then went into Cinema 4D and played around with lighting positions to imitate the sun's position in the photo until i got the results i needed.
